I’ve facing two weird problem’s in my wp-admin area :
- When I try to logout of my wp-admin dashboard, it doesn’t log out rather wordpress download’s the login.php file instead.
- WordPress always shows there is one update available, but actually no update is there.
- These are important because i run a multi author blog.
What i’ve already tried are:- (but couldn’t fix the problem)
- deactivated all plugin’s and switchced back to default theme then reinstalled wordpress and updated my database.
- deleted all tables in mysql database which were created by the plugins and again reinstalled all the plugin’s one by one.

Please help.
Problem Solved.
Just needed to reset the cookies. Simple changed the set of secret keys in wp-config.
