I am using the TwentyFifteen Plus theme on my webpage and love it so far.
But there are two things you might help me with
1) When opening a sub-menu, the parent-menu collapses.
That is weird, because I am not able to see what page I am on right now or I can’t easily choose another sub-menu item without opening the main-menu again.
That issue has been fixed in the original TwentyFifteen theme, would love that in your child theme aswell.
2) Is there an easy way to add a logo above the Menu ?
I don’t want the page Title & Description to show, would love to have a logo at this position.
If you have an easy solution, please share it with me 😉
Hi RaoulDuke, here is an article I wrote a while back on how to add a logo to Twenty Eleven theme using only CSS. http://zeaks.org/how-to-add-a-logo-to-twenty-eleven-theme/ The same method should work with Twenty Fifteen but using the class .site-title and a few adjustments to the logo position. It basically sets a background image for the site title, then uses a text indent to hide the title and only show the logo.
As for the menu issue, I wasn’t aware of this issue, TwentyFifteen Plus must be using a template/file that had been modified for the fix so it wasn’t carried over. I’ll look into it and release an update in the next couple days. Thanks for letting me know. You’ll receive an email once the update is release.
